| I was looking at that one xD I'm pretty sure the TM aug's still have a plastic body, for the record.
putting RAS rails on will be difficult and expensive

| The upper receiver/bolt assembly stuff is always full metal. The main body is always plastic with the AUG. They don't have a metal body in real steel anyway.
Price is pretty decent. YOU BUY NOW! Isn't it great being age verified.

| Rails for an AUG are more expensive than, let's say a M4; however, they have certainly decreased in value. I remember back in a few years ago just for a front end RAS unit for an AUG ran somewhere around $200.
As butt ugly as it is, go for the AUG!

| Ugly, but I understand the pros of bullpups (i.e. longer barrel, in tighter packages), but the pros alone don't make it a good looking gun.
I believe Horton agrees. And I believe we've had this conversation before haha!
On the more serious side of things. For $400 its a sweet deal.

| Just a heads but there is an iron sight on top of the scope. Handy as the scopes are usually worthless. | |

| awesome! Just a sidenote, Sunset hobby is either closed or moved. Se Centrail Interior hobby is the place to go, they've got a smart charger for $30 which I just picked up. That is, if you need one.
Other than that, you should come over when you get it

| I love that guys store, that is an amazing price.
What you need to get is the shorter barrel and hop-up unit so you can just switch out longer and shorter barrel assembly in seconds.

| ill get some pics up tonight i took it all apart last night. including the mechbox. which was a mistake i lost a spring and eventually found it but cause the mechbox was so annoying to get back together would be easy if there was just a screw to hold those contacts in under the cylinder. but ya it was 3 in the morning by the time i got it back together but i did a very thuro job of cleaning it all out and lubing it with silicone lube.
so now i just have to put the mechbox and everything back in the shell. but first im gonna take some laquer thinner to the shell and take all that dang krylon off the shell cause its kinda tacky since there is no clear coat.

| FYI, you should be using White Lithium Grease in your mechbox, not silicone. Silicone isn't going to do anything on your metal parts. Go to CT and look for Lith-Ease White Lithium Grease. It works wonders and is a cheaper solution than Systema or G&P lube. | |

| an issue has arisen after getting everything back together it wont fire. at least not very often. gear box is working the way it should and has ample pressure. mag is feeding properly and i have the hop-up adjusted so that it is not depressed into the barrel at all. but it sill only fire a couple bb's then it stops and i cant seem to get it to fire anymore. the gearbox still makes all the right noises and the air is coming out the end of the barrel. just there is no bb's leaving the barrel in front of the puff of air. ???? | |
