Our friend Frag is one of the founders of the NIA and has been well...MIA for a few years now working. Frag has CQC experience (not Call of Duty...real life) and will lead us through some basics on CQC. Like a magpul video there is lots that does not transfer to airsoft from the real world but some of the basics do and that is what he wants to focus on. Idea is teach some basic skills, use them/play and then debrief.

More details to come but DO NOT MISS THIS! Frag is a great resource to our community and a really nice guy. Leave macho attitudes, over competitiveness and inflated pride at home, this is still an NIA PG day so fun and working with others is still the focus.

CQB Course

As for gear, please ask the players to bring weapon lights if they have, flashlights for sure. Slings are necessary for rifle/carbine; one point are a must.

So there is field battle from 11-5 the 6:30 on for the CQ session? Correct?

2 Questions:

1)Is there any chance of arranging crash space? I can't afford a motel room this time.

I have my own sleeping kit just need a space to roll it out and crash.

2) Re CQ stuff: I have a request. Can we make some solid plans to do some low light/visibilty stuff?

When I think CQB its almost always in less than optimal conditions.

I'll talk with Frag, he had mentioned some low light stuff and I know he has some toys he wants to use so it's probably a go.\

I can't help you out with a place to stay. I'll see if I have any connections that can help out but if someone else has the room please offer.

Going to try to make it down for this but the in-laws are in the middle of moving that weekend so I might be too busy.

If you need to fake an injury to get out of moving I can help...

Right now I have 3 total interested in coming. Sounds like we will just do a day trip. Cost of traveling is big obstical. Still working on that.

Is there any ammo available up there to buy?

If you guys drive in from afar (wayne this means you to) just pay $14 to cover rental of the place. So three of you coming would save $30 which should help with gas.

I have two bags of BBs right now but 5 more bags on the way. There is no way they will arrive in time for the weekend though. I might just sell 1/2 bags to make sure that everyone has enough ammo.

Ok, that works. I will scrounge for any bags here too, then. And yes I DO have AK grip and stock to spare.

If you can't find a charger then just drop your batteries off with me and I'll charge them up for you.

I have some basic wall-wart airsoft chargers I don't want....I can bring one if you want...what voltage? 8.4?

For the purposes for head count estimation, sounds like I or the 2nd vehicle is picking up 2 others on the way up.

unless you have done some mods that Mp5 is a little hot. It was shooting 360 when I had it which is to hard.
