Rod and Gun Day Official!

Everything is in the clear. I will be setting table up on Sunday at 9 am.

I would like a list of people and items available.

I will be there and I will bring my 3 guns and BB's for demonstrations.

GM-Gunner will hopefully be there and bring some stuff too.

Is anyone else able to possibly make it? We will have a table and a lane to shoot in.

I'm there for something else, so i can't help out but I'll bring my Spetsnaz for display perposes. i don't mind if you shoot it Doug but i don't want others shooting it, you know my openions on that from my last post.

Thanks Gryph. It will be nice to display a Russian weapon. I won't shot it, I would feel bad if anything happened... But it will make a good conversation piece!

Yeah, that is a good idea Gryph. Bring you gun, a mag, and your loading bearing vest and that should be plenty. Most appreciated.

I had alot of fun out there today.

I put together a small (and slightly boring) video of some of the guns we fired. Sorry for the bad sound quality. The .44 magnum sounds like a pea shooter.

I am not in the mood to talk about it... I am dead tired and sun burned... After blowing through over $50 of BB's, having my G36 major jam, and nobody else showing up (cept Jackboot and Gryph but they were busy with other stuff), I am exhusted...

Good news is we have over a dozen people who are 18+ who are interested now (meaning maybe 1 or 2 new players).

Haven't even looked at it yet. I will let ya know in a few. Those flying color BB's are full of deformed and non-BB shaped BB's. I found a 2 cm bar of plastic, from the BB bag, in my highcap during the shooting today, luckily I caught it.

flying colors? deformed? ive never seen that before and that all ive used, lol, a 2 cm chuck of plastic could have done some damadge, oh there is also an emboidery shop in town that does good work, im gona get that badge checked out and get a quote

Awesome, a badge would kick ass! I wonder what they are capable of doing, color and shape wise (price too).

I give credit to the TM BB cleaning and un-jamming rod, works wonders and I am good to go! Yeah, I have had troubles with flying colors before with deformed ones. Usually one or two deformed ones per bag (when there should be none!). They really do jam up on the tighbore guns, the G36 has a 6.03mm barrel, not much room to move around with.

What would have made the day better was if I had had more 0.12's and just used the box mag all day. It was 1/4 full and it was emptied in the first 5 people. I used G36 low caps and half full VN high cap for the rest of the day.

We had a good target range setup with shotgun shells as targets. They were spread into rows all over the place. Full-auto was hilarious just to see people's reactions.

A lot of age 40+ people were like, "Hmmm, I wanna get one of these, that was too much fun".

The best was the 5 or 6 year old shoot on full auto. His face went all Rambo and he was laughing away as he sprayed down all the targets. (I helped him hold the gun, the M16A2 was too heavy for most the kids, thank goodness for the bipod).

Thanks to the efforts of you guys airsoft is getting a better rep than 15 and 16 yearolds with clear guns. Thanks for the work.

Yeah, someone started coming around the corner and ran away when he heard the yelling. I didn't see it though.
